By the end of the full CBT 1 and CBT 2 program, learners will be able to: explain the core principles, assumptions, and structure of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy describe the relationships between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, schemas, beliefs, and cognitive distortions identify and apply core CBT techniques including Socratic questioning, thought records, writing techniques, exposure, role-play, and acceptance-based strategies recognize how early experiences, relational patterns, and core assumptions can shape present cognition, emotion, and behavior formulate client difficulties using a CBT case conceptualization framework distinguish between foundational CBT learning and advanced disorder-specific application apply CBT-informed intervention planning to common clinical presentations including anxiety, depression, ADHD, narcissistic traits, borderline presentations, bipolar disorder, OCD, and PTSD interpret case studies and identify relevant CBT treatment targets use structured reflection, homework, and assessment activities to consolidate professional learning record and evaluate learning in a way that supports Continuing Professional Development practice Knowledge outcomes Learners will be able to: define the CBT model and its main components explain the role of automatic thoughts, intermediate beliefs, and core beliefs identify common cognitive biases and distortions describe the purpose of major CBT techniques used within the course explain the logic of CBT case formulation and treatment planning Skills outcomes Learners will be able to: use questioning and reflection to examine beliefs and assumptions complete and interpret core CBT worksheets and thought records connect presenting problems to cognitive, emotional, and behavioral maintenance cycles identify suitable intervention targets in structured case examples differentiate when particular CBT techniques are most clinically relevant
